Stuart Harris Kluft
Prior to founding Kluft Law, P.C., Stuart Harris Kluft worked at the prestigious plaintiff-side employment law firms Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP, Aegis Law Firm, P.C., and Van Vleck & Turner LLP. While working for those firms he helped secure over $50 million in settlements and verdicts against corporate defendants including, but not limited to, Wells Fargo Bank, Circle K, and Warner Bros.*
Mr. Kluft continues his many years of practice here with Kluft Law Firm, P.C. representing current and former employees against corporate defendants in individual FEHA and Title VII discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases as well as through complex litigation including employment class action and Private Attorney General (PAGA) representative actions for wage and hour violations. Mr. Kluft is a passionate advocate for his clients.
Stuart grew up in Southern California. He is the first person in his family to attend college, attending UC Riverside where he graduated with honors. While in college, he worked on Congressman Mark Takano’s first congressional political campaign, later working in his district office after he won that election. It was through this experience working with the Congressman that Mr. Kluft learned the importance of standing up for everyday people so that their voices and issues receive the proper representation they deserve.
After graduating UC Riverside, Stuart attended law school at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While there, he served as the Senior Technical Editor of Loyola’s International and Comparative Law Review, was a member of Loyola’s Hobbs District Attorney’s Clinic, a clerk for Loyola’s Project for the Innocent, and a mentor in Judge Stephen O’Neil’s Young Lawyers Mentor Program. While a student, Mr. Kluft also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where he served for two years in the Hardcore Gang Division and one year in the Organized Crime Division working with the LAPD, LASD, and the FBI prosecuting felony cases.
On his free time, Stuart enjoys traveling, watching F1, and spending time with friends and family.
